Q: How and why did you get started playing your sport?
A: “I started when I was four because my parents put me in every sport, and I liked soccer the best. Also, my mom played college soccer too.”
Q: What’s your favorite thing about soccer?
A: “It’s a sport that continues to excite me and allows me to grow as a player each time I go out and play and I’m able to continue to play in college and throughout the process I’ve met some of my closest friends who are also playing at different colleges. So, I’m excited to play them next year.”
Q: What is your favorite memory from playing soccer? Both at Plant and overall?
A: “Some of my favorite memories are traveling with my club team and staying in hotel rooms with them and Plant making it to states last year.”
Q: Who is your inspiration? It can be a coach, a teammate, a professional player, etc.
A: “My inspiration is Mal Pugh because she made it onto the national team as a freshman in college which is insane, so I aspire to be just like her.”
Q: How has the sport shaped you into who you are today?
A: “It has shaped me to handle setbacks and to keep going when things aren’t going my way. It has also helped me to set goals which keeps me motivated and just overall time management skills.”
Q: What is the most important thing you’ve learned from soccer?
A: “Patience and being flexible.”
Q: Why do you like playing at Plant?
A: “We have a great team with great energy, so it’s just fun to be on.”
Q: What are you most excited for this season?
A: “To win states.”
Q: How far do you want to take the sport?
A: “I want to get on the national team.”
