“Pitch Perfect 3” was most likely the last movie of the trilogy but it definitely didn’t earn its place as best of the three, like most trilogy series do. It had a lot of jokes and funny moments that kept the audience entertained but it was redundant with a very predictable plot.

It starred the same characters as always: Anna Kendrick as Beca Mitchell along with stars like Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld and guest star, DJ Khaled.

The movies are about an acapella group that enter various competitions to prove their skill in performance. In all three movies, the plot is consistent, a competition where the girl group performs but it gets somewhat redundant after watching the same thing.

The movie had some funny moments along with some very odd ones. The whole movie is about the group traveling around in Europe to perform for the on-duty marines which makes some weird thoughts come up.

Who came up with this so called “great idea” of the movie revolving around war? It seems like it’s making being deployed sounds good and that it’s not that big of a deal. The whole set of the movie is a little unsettling to the viewer if they know what really happens when our troops leave the U.S.

The most gruesome part of the movie was when one of the characters, Amy, killed her own dad while aboard a yacht and left him to die with others onboard as well.

Even though it wasn’t the best movie, it did have some good moments that left the audience with a good laugh. Like always, it was corny and had classic inappropriate jokes that the adults in the crowd would enjoy.

Overall, the movie left off with some good and bad feelings but it wasn’t a must watch movie and I wouldn’t choose to see this movie over any other on a night out at the theater.
