Reminiscing and deep reflection played a huge role 

Made me recollect moments of nothing but pure contentment  

As the words came out, approaching was a life-changing moment 

Isolation was unrecognizable 

I was filled with an anger that was consuming me 

I tried to seek the light in the dark tunnel 

I felt like I did not belong 

Like a stranger in the village 

I tried to accept being comfortable with being uncomfortable 

I tried to familiarize myself with the surroundings 

Somewhere out of my norm 

As time passed by, I was able to habituate to the environment
