“I chose to teach English because writing seems to be the biggest struggle for people so if I can help to make kids better writers, I'd be making a good contribution,” said AP Literature teacher Derek Thomas. “The best part of my job is working with my students every day.”

“The whole English department has made me feel so welcome they've been amazing,” English teacher Allison Goldberg said. “At plant my main goal is to make sure that my students succeed and I want them to understand that I have their best interests in mind.”
