Upcoming Concerts
In recent months, many artists have announced that they are going on tour. This may be happening because many artists have postponed and stopped traveling on tour due to COVID. However, as COVID is becoming less pressing, many singers are coming to the Tampa Bay area to perform their new hit songs for the public to enjoy.
Taylor Swift (The Eras Tour)
As announced publicly on Nov. 1, Taylor Swift is going on tour to many popular cities all around the United States. The Eras Tour takes the audience on a journey through every era in her career. The tour’s first leg will be in stadiums across the United States, while the international dates will be announced soon. Pre-sale tickets were available on Nov. 15. Because of so many fans trying to get tickets simultaneously, Ticketmaster experienced many technical difficulties as massive demand for tickets overwhelmed the website. Although this concert is proven difficult to obtain tickets for, there is no doubt that Swift will put on a fantastic show in front of thousands of fans.
Junior Gianna Valenti said, “I’m so excited for The Eras Tour, especially since Taylor is singing her old songs that I grew up with. The tickets were incredibly hard to get, so I feel very lucky that I get to go.”
Luke Combs (World Tour)
On July 8, Luke Combs is coming to Tampa, FL. Combs will perform on three continents, in 16 different countries, and consist of 35 concerts. Combs’ concerts radiate country energy from how people dress in jeans and cowboy hats to his very distinct country voice. As one of the most popular country singers today, Combs will most likely perform songs from his newest album and some throwback hits.
Louis Tomlinson (Faith in the Future World Tour)
Former One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson announced the North America leg of his tour and is coming to Tampa, FL. Tomlinson will perform his new album for the first time in front of thousands of fans. Not only does Tomlinson sing his new songs, but he also conducts the throwback One Direction hits that made him famous, to begin with.
Blake Shelton (Back To The Honkey Tonk Tour)
Blake Shelton is coming to Amalie Arena on March 3 to perform in front of thousands of country fans from across the state of Florida waiting to see him sing his famous songs. Also joining him on tour are Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean, who will perform before Shelton comes on stage. Shelton has been on lots of tours, so when attending the show, it is a guarantee to have a good time.
