In the middle of one of the most aesthetically pleasing parts of Tampa Bay, ‘Caffeine’ is located on a side street from Ashley Drive in Downtown Tampa. The outer appearance of the shop draws in any coffee lover but once they are inside, they are drawn in by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

The thing most appealing about ‘Caffeine’ is the unique types of coffee. Inside, it is not a shop where you can buy just plain old coffee. They have AeroPress technology which makes their coffee prepared in a creative, new way that consumers can appreciate.

The owners brought the shops from Lithuania, last May. They have other locations in Lithuania and other foreign countries. Their shop has only been open for 8 months.

Their coffee is all provided by local florida roasters and is all made from single origin coffee beans. This means that all of the beans are from one location only, making the flavor a much better experience.

The menu has high variety, which is one of the main pull factors to people who want a good drink. This includes Sparkling Coffee, a mix tonic water or ginger ale and espresso. This is a surprisingly refreshing twist on coffee. They also serve Orange Cold Brew, which includes slices of oranges and brown sugar mixed in the classic cold brew. We do not suggest using cream in this beverage, the oranges compliment the coffee’s smooth and bitter taste.

For those with a sweet tooth, the Aero Cappuccino involves blending espresso shots, condensed milk, ice and sweetened cream. Adding Vanilla is our suggestion because it makes the coffee like a milkshake. Other flavors include Mocha, Caramel and Butterscotch. Butterscotch is the coffee shop’s signature flavor since they use it their signature “late lattes.”

The shop also prices their beverages very fairly and provides size options for every beverage.

One set back to this establishment is parking. If you want to visit this location, please allow yourself ample time to find a spot on the street or in a surrounding lot.
