“We were supposed to do an abstract portrait so we were involving things about our selfs like our elements, colors that represented us, zodiac signs. I did ram horns because that is my Chinese zodiac year, a ram. The background, purple, is my favorite color and orange compliments that, and it’s the color of my hair. My element is fire, so I made my hair brighter than usual. Ram horns are strong, and they represent balance, and I wanted it head on, symmetrical, and my zodiac sign is Libra, which is balance,” freshman Tessa Kowalski said.
