Halloween Costumes

This year will be the best Halloween yet. The right costume will ensure Halloween perfection.

Halloween 2022 is on its way, and the time is now to start brainstorming what everybody looks forward to every year. Costumes. It’s the one night of the year that gives a free pass to be whoever you want with no hesitation, whether it’s celebrities, book characters, or the elements.

Certain stores usually dominate the Halloween costume industry, and nothing will be different this year. Shows like Euphoria, Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, and movies like Top Gun: Maverick and Don’t Worry Darling.

Senior Jaliyah Brown says, “I am going to be princess Tiana because she is an inspiration to me, and the costume looks amazing on me.”

This year, students are choosing to wear costumes that hold personal meaning to them.

For example, senior Jennifer Rayburn says, “I’m going to be cupid because I love love.”

Traditional is still in style, and there’s always room for a good old-fashioned movie character.

Jack Edmonson is going as John Wick, a famous action movie character. He says, “Because I’ll be immortal for the night.”

Sloan Arena plans to go as Stella from the Winx club. “I always wanted to dress up as one, but my parents didn’t think it was appropriate for my age at the time, so I am glad I can dress up now and live my childhood fantasies,” she says.

Halloween is right around the corner, so don’t wait till it’s too late.
