Crew Gets Spooky in the Halloween Regatta

The day before Halloween regatta the girls’ and boys’ teams work together to rig the boats. The varsity girls also spend time teaching the freshman how to properly rig. (Brianna B)
On race day the women’s Varsity 4+ launched with all seniors in the boat. The girls got 5 out of 8 boats.
The men’s first Varsity 8+ races down the course at 12:30 p.m.. They received 4 place out of 9 boats.
Men’s 2V coxswain Alexa Planiros (11) flexes as the boys’ dock after racing. They received 2 out of 6 boats.
Junior rower Zoe Schleelien helps coxswain Olivia Lucas get oars down for her single. Lucas raced in the lightweight single category for the first time.
The freshman girls check down their boat before the first race of the season. They placed 4 out of 6 boats
