The students of Jim Brockman, a physics teacher at Plant, studied Uniform Circular Motion with flying toy planes. Many students enjoy the various types of labs Brockman assigns every Friday. The planes stay suspended in the air waiting to be used by students. The students studied the concept of Uniform Circular Motion, an idea prevalent in both AP and honors classes.Students record the information needed to complete their lab in Brockman’s physics honor class. The lab was continued thorough out the entire day on Nov. 16th.Senior, Brant Sumners, prepares the plane for its first flight of the period. The students in every class did the experiments for the entire period. The planes and helicopters fly in perfect circles as the students take their measurements. The experiment was continued into the following day right before Fall Break.
