It’s hard to imagine what it takes to make such a pricey pizza at home. But logically thinking, a takeout from a Tampa stable as New York New York Pizza or Santoro’s Pizzeria may cost nearly the same. For a Friday pizza-night, make this easy dish that takes less than 20 minutes, but it’s a perfect nontraditional pizza that’s fully customizable.
Ingredients:
-Trader Joe’s Flatbread pizza crust (it come’s in a pack of two)
-Trader Joe’s Garlic Spread Dip (full container)
-Trader Joe’s red pesto (Pesto Rosso- about half container)
-1/2 ball of mozzarella
-Trader Joe’s Fresh Marinated Mozzarella Cheese (and some of the oil marinate for later)
-Pepperoni
-Sun dried tomatoes
-Arugula
-Trader Joe’s Hot Honey drizzle
-Balsamic drizzle
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 420F
Place the flatbreads on parchment paper on a baking pan.
Evenly spread the Garlic Spread Dip on the flatbread.
On top, spread a generous amount of Pesto Rosso (I used 1/2 of the container)
Then add 1/2 of the mozzarella ball, pulled apart into chunks.
Then add the mini marinated mozzarella balls, evenly spacing them.
Then add pepperoni (or prosciutto would be really good, but that would be done once the pizza is out of the oven).
Add some sun dried tomatoes.
Place it in the oven for 15-18 minutes until the cheese melts, the flatbread sides look crispy.
In a bowl, add arugula and toss it in some oil marinate from the mozzarella cheese balls (trust!)
Add the arugula on top of the pizza.
Drizzle it with some Trader Joe’s Hot Honey and Balsamic.
Enjoy!
