The episode began with the continued rose ceremony from the previous episode. All the women received roses except for Allison and Edwina, which means they got sent home. After saying goodbye, Joey announced they were leaving Malta and continuing their journey in Andalusia, Spain.
Once the group got to Andalusia, Joey took Kelsey A. on a one-on-one date. Their day together consisted of riding on a Vespa throughout town, trying new foods, and having a romantic picnic. Joey and Kelsey A. seem to have a good connection; he even said being with her feels natural.
Joey went on a group date with Daisy, Lexi, Autumn, Jenn, Katelyn, Maria, Madina, Jess, Lea, and Kelsey T the following day. The activity for the date was to write a quote about their feelings toward Joey and turn it into a painting on a canvas. Joey loved Jess’s painting the most, and she won extra time with him; they covered each other in paint and made their work of art.
Since Rachel’s name was not on the group date card, she was getting a one-on-one date with Joey. Rachel and Joey went into town and learned how to Flamenco dance. After understanding the basic steps, they were invited to dance that night in the show in front of an audience. The couple ended the night with a dinner and went to the beach to watch the fireworks.
Throughout this whole episode, Lea continued the drama that Sydney started with Maria. The episode ended with another rose ceremony and even more drama. Jess is angry at Maria for talking with Joey before she does because Maria already has a rose, and Jess needs extra time with him before he decides who gets sent home. Jess ends up storming out of the conversation with Maria because she is so mad she didn’t get to talk to Joey.
During the rose ceremony, Joey decides to send Autumn and Madina home. Coming up next week, Joey is taking the women to Montreal, Canada, and the drama is just beginning.
