It is that time of the year again! The Bachelor is back every Monday night with episodes filled with drama, new connections, heartbreak, and, most importantly, love.

Episode 7 began with six girls traveling to Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada, to meet up with Joey. The scenery was breathtaking, with water as clear as glass, stunning mountains, and various wildlife. This episode was very tense because this week, Joey decided which girls advance to hometowns where Joey meets their families.

Joey chose to give the first one-on-one date to Daisy because she has not been on one the longest out of all the other girls. Also, Joey wants extra time with her because Daisy is the only girl who has not told him she is falling in love with him. The date began with the couple horseback riding through the wilderness trails and hot tubing together after their ride. After they got cleaned up, Joey and Daisy attended a romantic fire-side dinner and discussed the future of their relationship.

Daisy said she was not in love with Joey yet but sees herself eventually getting to that point. Joey reassured her that it is okay not to be in love yet, and he looks forward to seeing where their relationship goes. Joey gives her a rose, which means Joey is going to Daisy’s hometown to meet her family!

The group date consisted of Jenn, Kelsey T., Maria, and Rachel, and the activity was turning the ladies into lumberjills (the female version of a lumberjack). The challenge made the women compete in axe throwing, chugging a glass of elk milk, and pushing and flipping heavy logs. The winner of the group date challenge was Kelsey T.

During the cocktail party that evening, Maria catches Joey by surprise when she explains that it is hard for her to see him with the other women, and she does not know if she can do it anymore. Joey is disappointed that Maria would consider going home and contemplates if she would bail on him in the future if their relationship kept going at its current pace. Joey decides not to give out a group date rose once the cocktail party ends.

The following day, Kelsey A. got her one-on-one date with Joey! The couple spent the day exploring the new city and even participating in a polar plunge with the area’s locals. After their fun day together, Kelsey and Joey have a romantic dinner and discuss the future of their relationship. Joey ends the night by giving Kelsey a rose. Joey and Kelsey are among the strongest couples on the show.

The episode ends with Jessie informing the remaining women that there will be no cocktail party, just a rose ceremony. Maria is incredibly disappointed to hear this news because she regrets telling Joey she was thinking about leaving. Once Joey walks in, he asks to speak to Maria before the ceremony begins because he wants to make sure she is committed to him and their relationship, which she says she is. During the ceremony, Joey gives roses to Maria and Rachel. This means Kelsey T. and Jenn unfortunately got sent home. Next week, Rachel, Daisy, Kelsey A, and Maria are going to their hometowns.
