The perfect companion is often a delectable cookie that captures the essence of both the beloved ingredients- chocolate and espresso. From the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee to the decadent allure of melting chocolate, prepare to tantalize your taste buds with every bite of our meticulously crafted confection. Follow this recipe to make these irresistible cookies, where the harmonious blend of coffee and chocolate takes center stage, promising a culinary experience like no other.

Ingredients:

1 cup butter, browned (melt it over low heat in a pan until brown) and cooled

1 cup dark brown sugar, packed

1/3 cup white sugar

1 egg + 1 egg yolk

2 teaspoons vanilla

½ salt

1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour (may need ¼ more depending on dough consistency)

2 tablespoons freshly ground espresso.

½ teaspoon baking soda

Chocolate chips/ chopped chocolate

Directions:

Start by beating the butter and sugar in a handstand mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix the dough for 5 minutes.

Add the second half of the listed materials, the dry products, aside from the chocolate.

Fold in the chocolate of choice.

Chill the dough for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Portion dough into desired size balls, and line them on a parchment baking sheet, giving space between them.

Bake at 350F for 8-12 minutes or until golden.
