Post Malone. The name invokes a lot of feelings in many different artists. Post Malone has made his impact in multiple genres, such as rap, pop music, and, the newest development, country. In this article, I will rank the top songs off of Malone’s newest album, “F-1Trillion,” which features popular country music artists such as Tim McGraw, Ernest, Dolly Parton, and many more.
- Wrong Ones (Feat. Tim McGraw) Currently, “Wrong Ones” has been my top listened-to song off the album. The combination of Ernest’s songwriting with Malone’s use of country rock makes the song one of the best on the album. The feature of country legend Tim McGraw solidifies the true country feel of the three-minute masterpiece, earning itself a 10/10 from me.
- Have the Heart (Feat. Dolly Parton) Only one word can be uttered from me after this listen: unbelievable. Malone’s use of the country queen herself, Dolly Parton, makes the song one that is impossible to skip. Both Malone and Parton’s voices add an authentic country element to the song that makes it a solid 9/10 from me.
- Devil Like Me (Feat. Ernest) As a die-hard Ernest fan, the combination of Ernest’s smooth country voice with Malone’s rather fiery one makes this song one of my instant favorites off the album. The overall vibe of the song follows many of Ernest’s latest releases from his album “Nashville, Tennessee,” making it a 9/10 on my list.
- What Don’t Belong to Me For Malone’s first entrance into the country music field, he truly hit it out of the ballpark with not only his feature songs but his singles, such as the song “What Don’t Belong to Me.” The song is a slow, smooth one that perfectly complements Malone’s own twang, earning this an 8.5/10 from me.
- Guy For That (Feat. Luke Combs) Since its release a few weeks ago as a single by Malone, this has been a song on repeat for me since mid-July. Luke Combs’ heavy country voice paired with Malone’s timider take makes this song the ultimate windows-down song to sing, making it an 8/10 from me.
