H&H Bagels, a New York City-founded bagel shop, is expanding its well-known New York bagels to Tampa this year at 1155 South Dale Mabry Highway. There hasn’t been an official opening date yet, but H&H representatives think it will open this spring/early summer. Now, Tampa residents can enjoy these authentic bagels without flying to New York.
Yum Sem Eats, the newest Korean street food spot, has officially opened at 1441 E Flecther Ave, Unit 127. Two more locations will soon open at 5229 N. Florida Ave and 11802 Bruce B Downs, Unit 103. The Yum Sem menu contains a dish of chewy rice cakes and fish cakes seasoned with scallions and onions. They also have Korean-style sushi rolls stuffed with pickled radish, carrots, spinach, and fried eggs wrapped in seaweed.
Hales Black Brick Hyde Park, a modern Chinese restaurant, will open its second location in Hyde Park at 1809 W Platt St. Tampa sometime this fall. This new spot will offer the same menu of fried rice, dumplings, noodles, and protein like ribeye or steak.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza, this California-based pizza chain is headed to Tampa, with franchises Sean Morrison, CEO of BizBox Group and Ned Algeo, Founder of Multipli Capital. The chain is known for its 20-inch pizzas, but it also serves chicken wings, garlic knots, salads and desserts.
Streetlight Tacos is Located at 4004 Henderson Blvd. The menu includes roadside-style chicken, rice, chips, guac and many more Mexican delights. When you get to the restaurant they have market lights that will light up the area.
