Gloomy weather kicks off Thanksgiving break

Predictions of scattered showers and thunderstorms this Friday afternoon kick off Thanksgiving break for students. The rain is expected to continue throughout the weekend and clear up around Monday morning.

Recently, Florida has come extremely close to breaking its November high temperature record of 88 degrees set in November of 1988. However, the start of break will see temperatures as low as 61 degrees and as high as 78 degrees.

The entire week of Thanksgiving is predicted to be partially cloudy with mostly clear skies.
