WTF Burger disappoints diners

After the highly successful Poultry-based restaurant PDQ, creators add Wow Thats Fast or better known as WTF Burger to their fresh food campaign.

Pulling up to the burger restaurant is when a customer will realize that they aren’t in Tampa anymore. Located on a road with six lanes of traffic going in each direction, it’s quite hard to locate the parking lot, let alone pull into it.

WTF burger is almost a direct resemblance to PDQ. Both exteriors include the same design, bright colors, with a modern facades. Even the interiors are similar. Both have the same layout, with a similar pathway to the cashier, and a dining area filled with tons of simplistic, uncomfortable tables.

The menu, which was a nice surprise to it’s poultry counterpart, includes burgers, hotdogs, salads, and pizza. Each food category has special options. For example if a customer wanted a burger without the calories of a bun, WTF has the option of letting you replace the bun with lettuce for no extra charge. So, the chain offers convenient options for all its food.

The burger, which was brought out wrapped in a paper and placed on fries, was a greasy sandwich placed on gressier fries. The taste would be somewhere in between a Mcdonald’s and a Five Guys, it wasn’t the worst burger I have ever had, but it definitely wasn’t the best

Following the greasy food pattern is the pizza. Although a really good portion size, it was mildly greasy and overly cheesy. This pizza has a normal tomato sauce as its base, a layer of cheese over this, with parmesan cheese sprinkled on the very top. This extra parmesan topping was very unnecessary, instead of adding extra flavor, an overbearing cheesy taste was created. Which made the pizza very hard to eat.

For a place that prides itself on making fresh food, the chain definitely missed. After the 30 minute drive, and greasy food it didn’t leave me walking away saying “wow that’s fresh” and instead more similar to what the abbreviated name stands for.
