Library coffee shop offers cozy space
The Library is a coffee shop on Dale Mabry that provides amazing sandwiches, coffee and customer service.
A warm atmosphere is felt throughout the quaint space and light, homemade food is served. The customers consist of sweet regulars and military members traveling to and from Macdill Air force base, this is a nice place to go when in need of a quite, relaxing vibe on a busy day.
The menu varies from lavender mochas to cinnamon roll lattes. The lavender mocha will taste like you’re eating a lavender stem but in the most pleasant way possible, the perfect combination for a tea and coffee enthusiast.
The “Beez kneez “ is a scrumptious coffee beverage loaded with honey and a well needed dose of caffeine. Served in either a white to-go coffee cup or a mug that fits perfectly in your hand, patrons will feel right at home.
All food is made in the open and is very minimalistic, served with either fruit or chips. Their simple but tasty treats are items like smoked gouda sandwiches, veggie grillers and a mesquite chicken salad. If a customers appetite isn’t staggering they can order small sides of scrambled eggs or Cuban toast with butter.
The prices are moderately low, good for a high school student on a budget. The owners are two lovely women who opened up shop to provide a sweet, calm atmosphere for people on the go.
If ever in town, stop by the library coffee shop for a good meal and a great time.
