Nintendo has released more information regarding their new hybrid console called the Nintendo Switch.  To promote this console, Nintendo held a news conference in order to show off some of the new features of the Nintendo Switch.

For those who don’t know, the Switch is a console that can be played on the player’s TV through a dock. What is unique about the Switch is that players are also able to play on the console it self were ever players want. The console also comes with two Joy-Con controllers (similar to two mini Wii controllers), that can be attached to a Joy-Con grip while the player is at home, along with being able to attach to the console itself while the player is out and about. Also, these controllers come in either grey or a combination of neon blue and neon red.

The Switch will be released on March 3, with a price of $299.99. This includes the console itself, the dock, Joy-Con Controllers and the grip, an AC Adapter, a HDMI Cable and Joy-Con Straps.

Regarding the games that will be available for the Switch, Nintendo says that there are 80 plus games in development. On launch day, games such as “1 2 Switch” and “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” will be aviable for purchase Games confirmed to come out later in 2017 include Splatoon 2, “FIFA,” “NBA 2K 18” and “Super Mario Odyssey. ”

Splatoon 2 is set to release this upcoming summer, and while FIFA and NBA 2K 18 have not announced release dates beside the fact that they will be coming sometime in the year, Super Mario Odyssey is coming out, as Nintendo phrased it, “Holiday 2017.”
