How to Spend Valentine’s Day Alone
The day has come: Valentine’s day is here. All of the couples flock to dinner dates and reserve plans. But should the people alone not have any of the fun? Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be exclusive to couples. Instead celebrate your independence and spoil yourself. Or better yet hang out with friends. In the end enjoy the day because don’t forget that chocolate is still discounted. But if you find it’s hard to think of what to do, then check out some of the examples below of how you can be spending Valentine’s day.
1) Treat Yourself- Just because some people don’t receive gifts on valentines day there is no reason why they should not get anything. This Valentine’s day go out and buy something. Get a box of chocolates or take yourself, or friends, out to the movies. Anyone can be spoiled on Valentine’s day.
2) Invite friends over- Rather than spending Valentine’s day alone in your room with everyone’s best friends ben and jerry, try something new this year. Instead have a few friends over and throw your very own anti-Valentine’s day party. Bake cookies and decorate treats and even watch a fun movie with friends.
3) Sleep- Just because it is Valentine’s day does not mean you need to be out and about if that is not what your heart desires. Sleeping can honestly be just as fun.
4) Try the new Starbucks Valentine’s coffee, Molten Chocolate- Take advantage of the new products around for Valentine’s products around. Many stores are bringing new products or having special deals for Valentine’s day. For example, Starbucks is introducing a new drink for limited time.
5) Listen to Music- Listening to music makes any day better. Try listening to our very own P’OP Anti-Valentine’s day playlist.
