How to Recover from Spring Break

1. Coffee- Getting adjusted to the new sleep schedule may seem hard but it is possible. At first it may be hard to go to bed at an earlier hour. So after getting less sleep it’s alright to grab some caffeine. However don’t rely on it. Only use it to get back on track of the old sleep schedule while still being awake enough for school.

2. Go to bed earlier- Even though one may not be tired, trying to sleep will help the body to adjust back to its normal routine. The coffee will help keep one awake but it should be accompanied with going to bed earlier. This ensures that caffeine doesn’t become a crutch.

3. Plan fun things for the future- Spring break doesn’t have to be the only time for adventure. Plan trips with friends before the school year ends. Especially for those graduating soon, it is important to take advantage of the weekends. One trip you can try planning a Disney day. Florida residents can buy tickets at a discounted rate.

4. Look over old school notes- Spring break tends to have students forgetting previously learned information. A good idea is to spend some time in the library and take a look over old notes.

5. Use a planner- Using a planner is never a bad idea. It doesn’t only have to be for remembering homework but can also be used to create schedules to keep one on track.

6. Set goals- Spring break is over so it is now time to think about the rest of the school year. Set goals for the rest of your classes. Creating deadlines for your goals can help to encourage you to stay motivated.
