Vegan Recipes give breakfast ease

  1. Avocado Toast- My favorite breakfast by far is avocado toast. Avocado toast may be eaten for breakfast or as a snack. In additions the recipe is very easy to perfect. First a good quality avocado must be used. A good avocado should not be hard and should give in some when squeezed slightly. Also, if you take off the stem and the avocado is green then it is ready to eat. A yellow stem indicates that the avocado needs to ripen longer and a brown stem is an over ripe avocado. After a perfect avocado is obtained, slice the avocado into wedges and sprinkle with lemon juice. Next, take two large pieces of whole grain bread and toast them. While the bread is being toasted, slice a small tomato. Once the toast is ready, place the avocado wedges on the bread and slightly crush with a fork. Sprinkle with salt and pepper for extra flavor. Lastly take the tomatoes and place the desired amount on top. The result—an easy vegan breakfast.
  1. Cereal- Cereal may seem like a boring traditional breakfast, and some might not even call it a recipe. However there are easy tips and tricks for a healthy vegan cereal. Try using Quaker Oatmeal Squares with unsweetened or lightly sweetened almond milk. Then to increase the taste, add a dash of cinnamon to the cereal. For the extra fancy days, try adding chocolate chips or fruit.
  1. Fruit Salad and toast- Fruit salad is very easy to make and very refreshing. Sweet food, such as donuts, may be too overwhelming. However fruit salads are light and will give you fuel to get up for the day. In addition, pairing the fruit salad with toast will help add more substance to the breakfast. Though many times vegans may miss buttered toast, they may escape the problem with earth balance’s organic vegan butter. No one will ever know it is vegan. Seriously, it tastes without a doubt the exact same.
  1. Smoothie- Smoothies are very easy recipes and good for those on the go. This breakfast is not only transportable but can be made overnight. Just add some fruits to a bag and freeze it. Then in the morning stick the fruit in a blender. Some simple vegan smoothie recipes are linked below.

  1. Hash browns- Hash browns are very easy and only require one ingredient! Potatoes. All you need to do is chop up some potatoes into small cubes. Drizzle some vegetable oil over the potatoes and season with desired seasoning. For me paprika and pepper is a must. All that’s left is frying up the potatoes in a skillet. Top it off with ketchup and what’s left is a delicious hearty breakfast.
