Sing/songwriter Shawn Mendes started his career on the social media site, Vine, with six second singing clips. After creating a large fan following through the social media star meet and greet convention, called MagCon, Mendes then moved on to creating a name for himself in the music industry.

Mendes was the opening act for pop artist Taylor Swift during her “1989” world tour, in addition to being a consistent voice on the radio with hits such as “Stitches” and “Mercy”.

Mendes will take the stage at Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa on July 25, and tickets are still available at Amalie Arena.
