New episodes drop for fall season

When fall rolls around, so do fall TV premiers. Recently, new episodes of “Modern Family”, “Halloween Baking Championship” and “Bob’s Burgers” have come out with brand new episodes. “Modern Family,” a show about three related families, released a new episode for season eight about the recent solar eclipse with their trademark comedic twist on it.

The show, of course, had its “oh shoot” moment when one of the main characters, Alex Dunphy, forgets her annoying boyfriend stranded on an island while the rest of the family enjoys each other’s company on a yacht.

Another new show was the third season episode of “Halloween Baking Championship,” in which eight competitors go head to head to battle it out in various baking contests, with little tricks and obstacles thrown in by host John Henson to try and veer off the bakers.

This week’s episode introduced eight new bakers, who had to bake cookies for the first challenge and a dessert for the second, but with a little twist. The dessert of their choice had to have an oozing element to it, whether it be melted chocolate or strawberry jelly, they had to have that detail to be well scored by the judges.

On Oct. 1, “Bob’s Burgers” new episode came out. The show about a family of five owning a local burger joint always has jokes and humor suitable for teens and adults.

In the new episode of Bobs Burgers with the title “Brunchsquatch,” the family tries to open the diner for brunch but it ends up being a complete wreck when all the customers are only there for mimosas.

Eventually, one of the main characters, Linda Belcher, cuts off all the customers from having more drinks because everybody is super drunk and they all rebel, craving for more drinks.

All these shows have you in for a laugh and some good entertainment on these windy autumn nights.
