The 91
st Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Feb. 24. The Oscars is an award ceremony that honors actors, actresses, directors and many others for their fine achievement in the cinematic industry.  The attendees’ glamorous dresses caused fans to gaze upon them.

Kacey Musgraves appeared to be looking pretty in pink with her tiered tulle (a soft type of nylon material, like a net) gown designed by Giambattista Valli. Her dress made her look like a ballerina who switched the dance floor for the red carpet. The middle of the dress was accented with a sparkly brooch in the shape of a bow which added a nice touch.

The top part of the dress was exquisite because of its whimsical form. The neckline made of tulle was a low turtleneck. And then, on the shoulders, the pink tulle puffed up towards her face.

Jennifer Hudson wore a fantastic, form-fitting red dress from Ellie Saab that looked exactly what the red dress dancer emoji wears.

Her dress was quite different since it was a longsleeve, oneshoulder evening gown with red ruffles that started from the top of the shoulder all the way down across the dress. Lastly featured was a leg slit in the middle to show off silver heels.

Constance Wu looked graceful in her vivid yellow tulle gown designed by Versace. She looked like Belle from “Beauty and the Beast.” It was offtheshoulder and encrusted with crystals at the neckline.

Wu was accessorized with silver drop diamond earrings to make the dress look more radiant.

Linda Cardellini was seen wearing a bubblegumpink tulle dress that is Schiaparelli Couture. The dress was short in the front and low in the back. It was accented with a light pink bow in the middle.

She looked like a giant pink loofah and she failed to make the pretty in pink trend work.

There is always at least one woman who wears a DSquared2 pant suit to an awards ceremony to differentiate themselves amongst other women who wear couture gowns.

But Awkwafina took the suit trend to the next level by wearing a sparkly pink pantsuit with a blouse that is tied into a knot at the neckline.

Bright hues, tulle and ruffles were showcased by celebrities who made these trends look daring and gorgeous, which led to an awestruck audience.
