“Jurassic World” hit big screens June 12, 2015 as a must see for all lovers of the thrilling, action filled Jurassic Park franchise. This fifth addition to the series easily tops the list of summer blockbusters with the combination of enhanced, higher quality in visual of the dinosaurs, Chris Pratt’s impressive performance in his dramatic leading role and the ultimate battle between the original T-Rex and the new hybrid, Indominus Rex, that wraps up the film with a bang.

Speaking of the Indominus Rex, the 40 foot tall untamable king leaves the audience on the edge of their seats. In the film, the dinosaur is the newest genetically engineered dinosaur addition to the Jurassic theme park. This carnivore runs loose out of his original lab where he was created and lets his inner monster out, attacking practically everything in sight. The release of the hybrid triggers all the other dinosaurs to run free into the attraction sites making it an exhilarating watch for the whole family.

Not only Is this movie filled with loads of action packed, bloody scenes, but Chris Pratt, the hot lead role of the movie, puts on his most striking dinosaur-hunting face and kills the game. Pratt’s character, velociraptor trainer Owen Grady, helps save the park with his brave gesture and heroic generosity. Even through lots of heart-stopping, daunting encounters with various “dinosaurs”, Pratt’s role is successfully portrayed with lots of emotion in his remarkable acting. He gives a comic performance, but still manages to give off the serious tone of his predecessor.

The most gripping scene of the movie is the epic duel between Indominus Rex and the original T-Rex from the previous films. When it seems like there is absolutely no more hope to save the Jurassic World theme park, Owen goes to his imposing back up plan, which surprisingly was one of the best ideas the directors could’ve created. The Velociraptor trainer releases the fearsome T-Rex in hopes that it can save the day against the Hybrid, which turns out successfully. This scene, in 3-D truly made the audience feel as if they were right there in the movie witnessing the ambitious fight between the monsters.

If you still have not seen this 2015 summer hit, it may be time to change that It’s definitely a family oriented film that will blow everyone’s mind away, making it a perfect for choice for family movie night.
