The Hyppo provides good service and great food

Hyde Park Village is home to one of Tampa’s newest foodie destinations, The Hyppo. Hyppo, opened in historical St. Augustine in 2010, founded by Stephen DiMare, and since has been expanding rapidly, making its way to Tampa, Fl.

Their gourmet assortment and organic, fresh flavors allow for sophistication while the popsicle element adds a reminiscent, childish feel. Customers can find unique flavors such as champagne mango, chocolate cheesecake, and cucumber lemon mint, or for those who have a taste for florals, customers can also enjoy flavors like guava hibiscus, watermelon hibiscus, and blueberry lavender lemonade.

The array of choices leaves visitors both perplexed and in awe. Prices of pops are reasonable and  Hyppo is open seven days a week with hours being Sunday-Wednesday 11 a.m-10 p.m and Thursday-Saturday 11 a.m-11 p.m. This allows customers ample time to stop by and grab a pop when it’s convenient for them.

The atmosphere in the store provides a prime area for relaxing, taking pictures with friends, and admiring the murals of quirky popsicle lovers and other entertaining cartoons that are sure to please. There is limited seating inside the store so customers may feel more comfortable sitting near the fountain in the park rather than inside The Hyppo.

The staff offers top of the line service, greeting guests with smiles and welcoming personalities that liven up the room even more. The Hyppo staff is extremely helpful in determining your preferred flavor and will even hand dip your popsicle in quick-hardening chocolate if requested.

Chocolate dipped is a unique option providing a high quality depth of flavor when combined with the right popsicle such as the Banana & Grace, which contains fresh bananas, filtered water, peanut butter, evaporated cane juice, raw honey, and sea salt. This choice allows customers with hundreds of flavor combinations and almost all are sure to please. The organic fruits and ingredients provide vivid colors in the popsicles capturing the gazes of passers by and  drawing them into the store.

Popsicle lovers can find locations all over the state of Florida such as Centro Ybor, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, St. Petersburg and Gainesville.
