Katie Whitson, News Editor
Katie Whitson was born in Tampa, Florida and has lived there for the
majority of her life. She was a copy editor for the 2013-2014 school
year and is currently the News Editor for the 2014-2015 school year.
Katie enjoys participating on the boards of Anchor Service Club as Vice
President , Beta Honor Society as Vice President of Service, Students
Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) as Secretary, and National English
Honor Society as Historian. Also, she is a member of the Danceros dance
team at Plant High School. She volunteers weekly at the Children's Cancer
Center. She is a member of National Honor Society, The Order of the Gold
and Black, PEERS, Science Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society,
Mu Alpha Theta, and other interest clubs.
