Zoie Ashmeade is a senior at Plant High and is immensely excited for her second year on staff. Zoie has prepared her entire life to become the news editor of a high school newspaper and hopes before she graduates the Pep O’ Plant will grow in readership and quality while continuing to offer smoothie coupons to the student body. She is an advocate for staff bonding (and is hoping for a holiday sweater party this year) and is exploring the possibility of getting a corgi for the publications room. She is known among her friends and family for her poor driving skills whilst singing along to Taylor Swift and One Direction. When not working on the newspaper Zoie spends her free time watching embarrassingly bad yet quirky shows on Netflix and can offer a list of shows for anyone interested in watching.
