Katie Chae, Business Manager
Katie Chae is a senior at Plant High School and she is the Business Manager for the newspaper. She has hopes to attend USF when she graduates hoping to be part of the stampede. Katie enjoys taking pictures, sleeping, eating, hanging out with friends, watching movies, performing as a pantherette. Katie also likes to be called Queen Elsa, Frozen and Avatar are her two favorite movies, and if she would like to switch places with another character she would be Elsa so she could have cool snow and ice powers or Neytiri in Avatar so she could act wild and free without any judgement. She is now the only senior in Pantherettes and she wishes to continue doing colorguard when she enters college hoping to advance up. Katie’s spirit animal is a wolf for her aggression, bravery, willing to become free, and beauty. She also enjoys writing fanfiction and probably spends more time with her journal then her phone. And she also spends more time reading throughout the day. She is also a fan of scary things like horror movies, Halloween Horror Nights, and Howl O'Scream but, always need someone other than her mom to cling on to for protection. Her favorite songs are Let it go and Fight song: Rachel Platten because of the way they make her realize that the past is the past and she should put it behind and keep looking forward for the future and stay strong no matter what and not care what other people think about her. She is also a fan of the Hunger Games Series, the Divergent Series (Although she has been crushed and heart-broken after reading the last book in the series.), and the Maze Runner Series. She loves to sing loudly to Frozen, any Disney song, Ellie Goulding, and Ariana Grande. She also loves to see theatre performances, mainly those at Plant or outside of Plant if her friends are in it. Her favorite subject is history and wishes to become a historian and is most favoriting Russian History. But, she dreads and hates math so much with a passion. If not performing, or reading or writing, she is also a runner. Katie loves to run and wishes to do more with it by putting herself in marathons. She wishes to do the Color Run and a Disney Marathon.
