Audrey Taylor, Staff Writer and Photographer

Audrey Taylor is beginning her first year on staff as a writer and photographer. Outside of newspaper she can be found writing, reading, and performing plays. She hopes to continue this love for theatre throughout college and her career. She is inspired by Audrey Hepburn and hopes to share her kindness and compassion throughout her life. Some of her favorite things include traveling, spending time with friends, and reading. Her favorite TV show is tied between Friends, Gilmore Girls, and Psych. Audrey is excited for the next year on staff and looking forward to using the skills learned here in her future career.

When stuck inside with nothing to do, leaning to knit with a cup of tea is the perfect way to stay warm and cozy. Students have found multiple YouTube knitting tutorials that teach simple projects like a scarf or a blanket to any beginner.

To provide students with the opportunity to give blood, the Oneblood donation bus came to school. Students were able to donate during second through seventh periods and were escorted back to class by helping students.

While visitors eat and walk, Epcot’s lake is decorated with advertisements for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Epcot has been hosting the festival for 24 years and the event will continue through November 23.

To prevent waste from getting into the river, students pick up trash along the Riverwalk during the Hillsborough river and coastal cleanup Sept 21. The students kept a log of all the trash picked up to document the total waste collected at the event.
