Hi I’m Emma and I am the Coverage Editor for PHS News. I write mostly about Hockey, Formula 1, and new cars/car news. I’m a rising junior. I’m Assistant Drum Major for the Plant Band. I plan to hopefully attend Texas A&M University.

Right into the microphone, Senior Jack Bricklemyer sings along as the rest of Father Teresa play. Back in November, these Plant seniors performed their first gig at Molly Malone’s on Davis Island, gaining popularity amongst the school and in the community from playing covers from some favorites such as Kilby Girl and Supersoaker.

Senior Kate Bentley is pictured doing what she loves most, participating in anything towards law and government. Bentley was accepted in one of the top schools in America, Princeton University, setting milestones many Plant students wish to make as they go through high school.

Valtteri Bottas has been in Formula 1 since 2013 and is making one of the biggest advances in his career: leaving Mercedes for Alfa Romeo. He signed a multi-year contract with Alfa Romeo and will hopefully bring back the spotlight to the team.
