Hartley Hill, Copy Editor

Hartley is a senior staff member of the  Pep O' Plant newspaper and the copy editor. She enjoys writing features and sports. Outside of school, Hartley can be found running on Bayshore every day with the cross country team, and she is on the board of FCA, NEHS, and Senior Committee. Hartley enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with her friends, and playing with her crazy dogs. Some of her many talents include being undefeated in Mario Kart Wii and being able to quote any Christmas movie from start to finish. Next year she plans to study business in college out of Florida.

A Dozen Dubs

After fighting for five years, the Tampa Bay Lightning brought home the franchise’s second Stanley Cup after winning Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals 2-0 against the Dallas Stars on Monday, Sept. 28.  


October 2, 2020
After decomitting from Ohio State University, senior soccer player Claire Rain reached back out to University of Tennessee, which had their eyes on her since her freshman year. They immediately offered her a spot for the team that was the highest ranked SEC team headed into the 2019 season. 
“I chose to go to Tennessee because I wanted to be closer to home, and I wanted to play in the SEC,” Rain said. “I am looking forward to play at the college level and to grow as a player and hopefully get on the national team. I am also excited to get all the free gear.”

Crowded under the basket, juniors Elijah Gonzalez and Regan Weiss and seniors Bobby Gough and Logan Morrissey all look for the rebound Jan. 22 in the gymnasium. The boys basketball team beat Sickles High School 64-51.
